In Breipaal in the Northern Cape, GIC was appointed to provide internal civil services to the local community. Our roads & storm water drainage project was dedicated to constructing internal gravel roads with various widths and necessary cross-fall angles, ensuring smooth and safe travel within the community. This initiative also included the development of storm water channels to effectively manage runoff and reduce flooding.

Meanwhile, through our water network project, GIC and its partners established a thorough internal water reticulation system, which includes reliable house connections, water meters, fire hydrants, and isolation valves, providing the community with a stable and secure water supply.

Additionally, our sewer network project focused on installing robust uPVC sewer pipes and concrete manholes with heavy-duty covers, addressing the essential need for an efficient and long-lasting wastewater management system. These infrastructure advancements significantly improved community life, safety, and sustainability. The project began in October 2019 and was completed in January 2021, with 506 stands serviced.
