The Jacksonville project in the Northern Cape began with 139 undeveloped stands, with GIC was appointed to provide internal civil services. Local community members were employed in the development of gravel roads, stormwater channels, a water reticulation network, and sewer system that were long needed within the community. The project began in January 2019 and was completed on schedule in April 2021.
